Shooting on International Boulevard in Oakland leaves one dead

Oakland police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Tuesday afternoon on International Boulevard.

The shooting occurred around 4 p.m. in the 2400 block of International Boulevard.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a person who had been shot. She received medical treatment but died at the scene.

The identity of the victim will be released once next of kin have been notified.

The police did not provide any information about a possible suspect.
