Armed robbery and stabbing in Manassas

MANASSAS, VA – On Sunday evening, officers responded to a reported armed robbery in the area of ​​Irongate Way and Cub Run Court in Manassas. The incident occurred around 8:15 p.m. when a 32-year-old man confronted an unknown individual who had taken his wallet, which led to an altercation.

During the encounter, the suspect stabbed the victim in the upper body with an unknown object before fleeing. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Officers, along with a police canine unit, searched for the suspect but were unable to locate him.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male wearing a black sweatshirt and blue basketball shorts. The investigation is ongoing.

Woodbridge, VA – On Sunday evening, police responded to a report of firearms being used in the 14900 block of Alaska Road in Woodbridge. The incident occurred around 8:03 p.m. when a 33-year-old man was walking in the area and became involved in a verbal altercation with a group of men.

During the altercation, three of the men approached the victim while a fourth man brandished a firearm. The suspects fled the scene in a silver Honda sedan after the victim contacted police. The suspect brandishing the firearm is described as a black male with a slim build and brown curly hair.

The investigation is ongoing.

Annapolis, MD – Police are investigating an assault that occurred Saturday morning near West Street and Westgate Circle. At around 8:50 a.m., two men were walking toward each other on the sidewalk when an altercation broke out.

The victim reported that the suspect, a white male carrying a backpack and umbrella, did not yield and violently struck him in the chest. The suspect allegedly threatened to “shoot” the victim while using racial slurs. Despite the confrontation, both individuals continued walking in their respective directions. The victim refused medical attention and reported no physical injuries. No weapon was displayed during the incident.
