Search for two perpetrators of serious robbery and assault

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) – Police are asking for help in locating two suspects in an aggravated robbery and assault case.

According to police, 31-year-old Francisco Vargas Jr. and 32-year-old Kaitlyn Smith are suspects in an incident that occurred around 6:15 a.m. Monday morning in the 3000 block of 33th Street South.

An adult male victim, Smith said, took him to a location where he was physically assaulted and robbed by two men.

The victim has facial injuries and broken ribs.

Information about the other man is currently unknown.
