Man shot by police in Beaverton near Washington Square Mall

BEAVERTON, Oregon (KPTV) – A man was shot and killed by Beaverton police near Washington Square Mall Monday night.

The incident occurred just before 8 p.m. at Nordstrom Rack, 9175 Southwest Cascade Avenue. Police said officers responded to a call reporting a man had been shot.

The man died at the scene. His identity has not yet been established.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office is investigating the officer-involved shooting and is expected to release more details Tuesday.
