FBI agents and police search house in southwest Miami-Dade

MIAMI DADE COUNTY, Florida. – Miami-Dade police assisted the FBI in a raid on a home in southwest Miami-Dade Tuesday morning, authorities confirmed.

Investigators could be seen entering and circling the property at Southwest 124th Avenue and 248th Street.

The home is close to two schools, Coconut Palm K-8 Academy and Somerset Academy Charter High School.

Several vehicles were parked behind the gate of the house and some were towed onto the street.

The raid caused heavy traffic in the area during the morning rush hour.

An FBI spokesperson only confirmed to Local 10 News that the agency was “conducting court-sanctioned activities near 124 Avenue.”
