Family injured in rollover accident | Local news

Chaves County Sheriff's officials are investigating a single-vehicle rollover crash with injuries that occurred Saturday evening.

The Chaves County Sheriff's Office announced on its Facebook page that the accident occurred at around 7:25 p.m. at 173 Vista Largo Road when a man and his girlfriend, traveling with their four children, lost control of the vehicle and it overturned.

After officers arrived on scene, the man and four children were taken to a local hospital, while the woman driving the vehicle was flown by helicopter to an out-of-area medical center for further medical treatment.
